- Simple Filters
Open a New Transparent Image 250 x 250
Choose a Gradient and use these settings
Angle = 45; Repeats = 5; Linear selected
Flood fill the transparent image
Effects > Texture Effects > Blinds
For the Colour, choose a dark colour - I chose a dark green
Effects > Distortion Effects > Displacement Map
Effects > Plugins > Simple Filters > Pizza Slice Mirror
This is good as a background anyway, but do a seamless tile effect on it to see
Effects > Image Effects > Seamless Tiling - use default settings
Here are some more results with different Gradient Settings and Different Displacement Maps.
I applied the Seamless Tiling when I finished both of them.
The Green one I used Angle 0, Repeats = 3 for the Gradient; Rectangular; Map = Mosaic Weave
The Blue one I used Style = Sunburst; Repeats = 4 for the Gradient; Map = Swirl
Save this as a .jpg and you're done!!
