Blend 8 - Angel Kisses
You will need the following supplies to do this tutorial exactly as I have.
Images or choose your own Images
Snowflake Image or choose your own Decor
Word Art or choose your own
Sharilmar Mask 110 or choose your own
Plug-ins required
MuRa's Seamless - availableHERE

Unzip the supplies and place into the folders where you store your goodies
This tutorial is written using PSP9, but can be adapted for any version.
Open the above_the_clouds_equality_ws_a477.jpg sky image in PSP
Dulpicate close the original
Right click on the Background Layer in the Layer Palette and Promote Background Layer
Resize to 450 on the longest side - I did not sharpen up the image this time.
Add a New Raster Layer
Flood Fill with your a very light colour - I used White for this image
Layers > Load/Save Mask > Load Mask from Disk
Locate the sharlimarMask110 and use these settings
Click Load
Merge Layer Group
Activate the Magic Wand (Contiguous ticked) and click in the centre of the image, so that the rectangular section is selected
Expand the Selection by 3 pixels
This is what the selection is like
Right click on Group-Raster 2 Layer in the layer palette
Promote Selection to Layer
With your very light colour in the Background Box (mine was white), choose a light to mid colour for the Foreground Box- I chose #99d6d7
Locate the Foreground-background gradient - Angle = 45; Repeats = 4; Style = Linear
Flood Fill the Selection with the gradient
Effects > Texture Effects > Blinds - use these settings
Move this layer down one, so that is it underneath the mask layer
Change the Blend mode to Lighten and Change the Opacity to 50
Deselect
Activate the Mask Layer - it should be the top layer (Group-Raster2)
Effects > Plugins > MuRa's Seamless > Emboss at Alpha
128; 128; 128; 64; 255; 128 - these are the default settings
Click OK
Repeat the last Plugin Effect
Apply a Drop Shadow of 1, 1, 100, 2, Black
This is what we have so far
Open the mtfp_misted_lovely_angel.pspimage
Copy the mtfp_misted Layer and paste as a new layer
Resize by 30% (Resize all Layers is Unticked)
Sharpen
Shift it to the right slightly - see my image above for where I placed mine
Change the Blend Mode to Overlay
Lower the Opacity to 60

Open the ads_snowflakes_set5.pspimage
Copy Raster Layer 4 and Paste as a New Layer
Resize by 65% and Sharpen
Move to the Bottom right corner - see my image for placement (this is the larger of the snowflakes)
Apply the same drop shadow that you used on the mask
Change the Blend Mode to Soft Light
Paste as a New Layer again
Resize by 50% and Sharpen
Move to the Bottom right corner to the left of, but slightly overlapping the other snowflake - see my image for placement
Apply the same drop shadow
Change the Blend Mode to Hard Light and Lower the Opacity to 85
Paste as a New Layer again
Resize by 75% and Sharpen
Move to the Top Left corner - see my image for placement
Change the Blend Mode to Dodge and Lower the Opacity to 70
Open the Snowflakes.png Word Art
Copy and Paste it as a New Layer
Resize by 25% and Shift it down to the bottom of the rectangular section
Change the Blend Mode to Luminance (Legac) and Change the Opacity to 60

Add a border of 2 Pixels in the lightest colour - I used white
Add a border of 2 Pixels in the light/mid colour - I used the blue
Add a border of 2 Pixels in black
Select all
Contract by 6 Pixels
Apply this cutout
Repeat the Cutout changing the Offsets to -3
Deselect
Add your Watermark and Merge all
